AlphaDesk, a cloud-based software provider to hedge funds and other investment managers, has released a fast-track deployment of its front-to-back, multi-asset, integrated order and portfolio management system (OMS/PMS).
The new release will provide start-up and emerging funds managers with AlphaDesk's core functionality within a pre-defined configuration and a select number of integrations and interfaces.
There are no implementation fees, and installation and training takes place across a few weeks, not months. A full 90-day refund warranty is also included.
Nick Straatsma (pictured), global product manager, says: "With this new package we are responding to the comments from prime brokers and the demand from new funds for a platform that supports a start-up cost base without sacrificing institutional-grade quality and support. From the very first line of code, we have developed a single product that facilitates this kind of packaging."
Kevin Galliers, chief operating officer, adds: "One of our core values is that we think like our client-base, responding to the market as the hedge fund industry ebbs and flows. We've seen how funds are now starting with lower assets, but demonstrating accelerated growth, and we also recognise that investors are demanding greater fee and cost transparency from their fund managers. This new packaging approach means our clients pay a fixed, and highly affordable, monthly fee – that's it, there are no hidden surprises. And, if the fund is referred to us by their prime broker, the hedge fund gets a further discount from us."
