BCA Research, a provider of independent macro investment research to hedge funds and other asset management firms, has appointed Jing Sima as China Strategist. Sima will work closely with Arthur Budaghyan, BCA Chief EM/China Strategist.

Sima has rejoined BCA after serving two years as an investment consultant. In 2021, Sima was named by Business Insider as one of ten "top China-focused analysts, strategists, and short-sellers" in the wake of Chinese regulators' crackdown on cryptocurrencies.

Prior to her first tenure at BCA, Sima was previously at CS Global Strategies and The Conference Board.
