Bittrex, a US-based cryptocurrency exchange, has added support for USD Coin (USDC) to its list of trading pairs.
Traders will now have the ability to trade against USDC along with other quote currencies currently available on the Bittrex exchange.
Cryptocurrency pairs are a valuable tool for allowing users to compare costs between currencies. With USDC pairs now available on the Bittrex platform, traders can directly compare prices of popular crypto assets – such as ETH and BTC – to another US dollar pegged stablecoin. USDC will act as a “quote currency” for other digital assets, giving users a reference against other currencies.
USDC, one of the fastest-growing, dollar digital assets, stands at more than $49 billion in circulation and has supported more than $1.9 trillion in on-chain transactions as of April, 2022.
USDC joins an extensive list of trading pairs currently available on the Bittrex platform, including USD, BTC, ETH, and USDT.
