The Blackstone Private Credit fund (BCRED) has reported a net return of 12.4 per cent since launch and an 8.5 per cent distribution yield for 2021, according to a report by Barron's Online.
While the S&P 500 was down more than 5 per cent during the first month of 2022, and the Bloomberg US Aggregate Bond Index, was down more than 2 per cent, BCRED chalked up a return of almost 1 per cent.
