BMLL, an independent provider of historical Level 3 data and analytics, has appointed former Société Générale, Goldman Sachs and UBS executive Jenny Chen as Head of Sales, Americas.
The appointment follows the recent appointment of Rob Laible as Head of Americas (January 2023) and delivers on BMLL’s strategic growth plans for geographic expansion, to meet the increasing client demand for Level 3 data and analytics in the US and globally.
BMLL already serves a number of US based clients and says it has seen growing demand for its granular Level 3 data and analytics capabilities from increasingly sophisticated market participants, who understand the competitive advantage that historical data can bring.
Chen has over 20 years of experience working in the global financial industry, with a focus on execution services and global portfolio trading, based in the US. She has held a variety of senior roles at Société Générale as Managing Director, Head of Global Execution Services, Americas, responsible for all agency execution teams, sales, trading coverage, and algos; and Head of Global Portfolio Sales Trading and Electronic Services. Prior to joining Société Générale, she spent seven years at Goldman Sachs and two years at UBS in global portfolio trading. Most recently, Jenny served as Head of Sales, Americas, for big xyt.
