Staff at Bridgewater Associates are top of the league when it comes to employee perks, according to data from Levels.fyi, with the firm spending $21,414 per year per employee on a range of benefits including free meals, pension contributions and health insurance.

Bridgewater is significantly ahead of the next two biggest spenders assessed by Levels.fyi, Jane Street at $16,544 per person per annum, and third placed Citadel, with a $16,170 annual spend.

The fourth hedge fund firm in Levels.fyi's rankings is Two Sigma with a significantly lower spend of $6,174 per person.

Bridgewater's bumper benefits package includes health, life and dental insurance, free breakfast and lunch provided five days a week, on-site gym facilities, and a shuttle service between the firm's New York and Connecticut offices.
