C12 Capital Management, an independent firm with nearly USD13bn invested in fixed income and credit strategies, has appointed Richard Geller and Kara Margolis to focus on global investor relations.

Geller joins C12 as head of investor relations and has more than 16 years of financial industry experience.

Prior to joining C12 he was a partner and global head of marketing and investor relations at Sandell Asset Management where he oversaw the firm’s asset raising efforts from 2003 to 2010. Geller was previously with MD Sass and Bear Stearns.

Margolis joins C12 as director, investor relations and has approximately ten years of financial industry experience. She worked with Geller at Sandell Asset Management where she was responsible for US consultant relations and institutional business development from 2007 until late 2009. She previously held similar roles at Arden Asset Management and GM Asset Management.
