Citadel, the global hedge fund and market-making firm, has leased office space atop Boston’s newly completed South Station Tower, marking a significant expansion in the city for the business, according to a report by Bloomberg.
The move positions the firm in a prime downtown location, overlooking the city’s transportation hub and reflecting continued demand among hedge funds for premium office space in key financial centres.
The Boston offices will support Citadel’s trading, research, and technology teams, complementing its existing US operations.
The South Station Tower development is among the city’s tallest commercial properties, offering modern amenities tailored to institutional tenants, including high-tech trading floors and collaborative workspace.
