Corinthian has appointed Denis Vinokourov as a Principal and Head of Research.

Corinthian is the brainchild of Paul Frost-Smith who, having developed algorithmic trading strategies at Argentium, saw the opportunity to invest across the entire crypto value chain, not just in high frequency arbitrage. 

Vinokourov joins Corinthian from Synergia Capital, a DeFi Fund where he was Head of Research and part of the team tasked with identifying early-stage investment opportunities, with a particular focus on DeFi protocols across blockchains. Before this, he was Head of Research for Bequant, where he published thematic, tactical and market structure research on key trends and developments in the crypto markets.
