Daiwa Securities Global Asset Services, the fund servicing arm of the Daiwa Securities Group, has appointed Jamie Phillips to its sales and marketing team.
Phillips, who will be based in the Daiwa London office, brings over 25 years of financial services experience to the role, including most recently senior positions at Barclays Capital.
Karl McEneff, managing director, says: 'We are extremely pleased with the appointment of Jamie, who brings extensive experience and pedigree to the Daiwa sales and marketing team. The timing of the appointment is very apt, as Daiwa seeks to expand its client base and the global investment community looks to appoint proven, independent third party service providers based in a regulated jurisdiction.'
Phillips says: 'I am delighted to be joining Daiwa and hope to compliment the established team in continuing to convert its excellent fund servicing reputation into securing new mandates'.
