Dechert LLP has appointed Anthony Lombardi as a fund finance partner in London to help expand its fund leverage capacity across asset classes, including private equity funds, hedge funds and private credit funds, and bolster its presence in Europe.

Lombardi specialises in banking, corporate and contract law and represents clients in a variety of fund finance, structured finance and debt capital markets transactions. In addition, Lombardi has extensive experience with the purchase and sale of European and emerging markets distressed assets, including bank debt and claims, plus swaps, derivatives and repurchase agreements.

A University of Sussex and Inns of Court, School of Law graduate, Lombardi's experience spans structured finance deals for funds, Collateralised Fund Obligations (CFOs), NAV deals and secondaries fund financing, esoteric structures, and traditional fund subscription lines.
