Dinosaur Financial Group (Dinosaur), a New York-based brokerage firm serving institutions, family offices, asset managers, hedge funds, banks, dealers, and corporations, has appointed Kirk Sauer as managing director, emerging markets.
Sauer will lead the company's emerging markets business across asset classes: fixed income, currencies, and commodities, supporting institutional clients in global trading, risk management and merchant banking.
Prior to joining Dinosaur, Sauer spent two decades of with financial services firms focused on Central East Europe, Middle East, and Africa (CEEMEA). He built operations in the UK and US, led several strategic initiatives, and expanded relationships with clients, counterparties, and regulators around the world, beginning in 1999 as Director CEEMEA Sales and Trading for Seidel & Shaw where he spent eight years, followed by 14 years at Global Credit Partners in the US and UK.
