Speaking at the Sohn Investment Conference in New York, Discovery Capital founder and macro hedge fund manager Rob Citrone highlighted Mexico’s America Movil as his top stock choice, citing the company’s broad exposure across Latin America, according to a report by Reuters.
Citrone expressed strong bullishness on the Latin American region, viewing it as a key diversification play away from the US market. Discovery Capital posted an impressive 52% gain last year, driven in part by macro opportunities in Latin America’s equities, interest rates, and currencies.
Currently, the majority of Discovery’s portfolio is focused outside the US, reflecting Citrone’s conviction in the region’s growth potential and attractive risk-reward dynamics.
