Fund governance firm DMS Offshore Investment Services (DMS) has appointed Murray McGregor as Global Head of Structured Finance, to lead the company’s structured finance team.

McGregor brings over 15 years structured and asset finance experience to DMS as an independent director, manager and business developer who has worked in multiple jurisdictions. He will also serve DMS as an independent director on the boards of structured finance vehicles, other special purpose entities and hedge funds.

Prior to joining DMS, McGregor was Managing Director of Structured Finance/Asset Finance at Citco Corporate Services (Dublin) and was also responsible for business development and marketing in the U.K., Ireland, Europe and the USA. Before Citco, he worked at Ogier Fiduciary Services in Dublin, Ireland and Jersey, Channel Islands as Managing Director of Structured Finance/Asset Finance and led the expansion of the firm's trust and fiduciary business to Ireland.
 
After qualifying as a Solicitor in South Africa, he worked for several years at Goldman Sachs in London on the Credit Derivatives and Repackagings trading desk.
 
He earned a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Natal, South Africa and is a member of the South Africa Bar Association.
