Euronext is to add options on the shares of international insurance and investment management company NN Group to its range of equity option classes.
The options will be available as of 17 July on the Amsterdam market of Euronext.
NN Group is an insurance and investment management company with a predominantly European presence in more than 18 countries. With over 12,000 employees the group offers retirement services, insurance, investments and banking to more than 15 million customers.
NN Group includes Nationale-Nederlanden, ING Insurance Europe, ING Investment Management and ING Life Japan.
The new listed equity options follow the IPO of NN Group on Euronext Amsterdam on 2 July.
Adam Rose, head of financial derivatives at Euronext, says: “We’re delighted to announce the launch of the NN Group options. With the listing of these new options we are further expanding our successful equity option franchise. Equity options provide significant added value to the liquidity of the underlying share and will benefit the visibility of the company.”
The new American-style options will expire on the third Friday of the contract month and will have initial maturities of one, two, three, six, nine and 12 months. Each option will represent 100 shares in NN Group and will be cleared via LCH.Clearnet SA.
