eVestment is to offer clients of its suite of analytic solutions for institutional investors access to BarclayHedge’s alternatives data.
“The data from BarclayHedge complements our extensive database of traditional and alternative vehicles,” says Jim Minnick, founder and chief executive of eVestment. “The agreement allows users of any eVestment Analytics solution – including those acquired from PerTrac and Fundspire in 2012 – to consume the same data. As we continue to roll-out our revamped suite of Analytics tools, clients will be able to move much more easily from one solution to another using the same data across our entire platform.”
eVestment Analytics users will be able to compare and analyse strategies from multiple data sources and then create professional reports for their clients to demonstrate the analysis performed.
