Multi-strategy major Millennium has become the latest hedge fund to add an AI researcher to its team with the appointment of PhD nuclear physicist Aaron Key as its Head of AI for Fixed Income Technology, according to a report by eFinancial Careers.
Key has joined from Amazon Web Services, where he spent the last three years as a senior machine learning scientist.
Prior to AWS, he spent almost seven years at Bloomberg, having joined the fintech as a graduate in R&D development before transitioning to a quant researcher role and then being appointed as Head of Enterprise Quant Research and Development.
