The managers stated: 'The fund performed strongly in the face of volatile Global Emerging Markets during May and June, posting healthy positive numbers in both months, while in July and August it returned 2.75% and 1.25% respectively.'
Finisterre Capital is taking advantage of the way Emerging Markets are evolving and the team has been strengthened in the past year by the addition of FX and Local Market debt experts, Robin Hubbard and Tim Whyman, and the more recent hiring of Rafael Biosse Duplan, a specialist in Distressed Debt and Special Situations, and of Alex Williamson, who is the firm's Corporate Analyst.
