Guernsey, one of Europe's leading jurisdictions for offshore fund services, will stage its London conference at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in Westminster, London SW1 on Wednesday 27 September.

Guernsey Funds 2006 will have a strong technical focus where delegates will hear about recent product developments using Guernsey, Channel Islands as their jurisdiction of establishment. Those attending will also discover the latest innovations within the fund management sector in Guernsey, including using Guernsey as a front and back office facility.

The day's programme combines; a keynote speech from Howard Flight, co-founder and Managing Director of Guinness Flight in 1986 and currently a member of the Board of the Guernsey Financial Services Commission; three plenary sessions; a choice of nine breakout sessions; and a conference debate in the afternoon. The conference will be chaired by Peter Harwood, Head of the Corporate Department of Guernsey law firm Ozannes, who recently led the panel reviewing the investment sector in Guernsey.

Guernsey Funds 2006 will be of particular interest to professionals working in the fields of fund management and administration and will conclude with an evening reception from 5.00pm to 6.30pm.
