Halcyon Asset Management has appointed Rollo R Wigan as a Managing Principal in the firm's UK office with primary responsibility for client relations in Europe, the Middle East, and Australia.
Wigan was most recently Managing Director of Marketing and Client Development at MKP Capital Management, LLC, where he held increasingly senior positions there, having joined the firm in March 2002. Wigan holds a BA from the University of the West of England, Bristol.
"Halcyon's client base has become more global, and to meet this growing demand we needed a respected industry veteran on the ground in Europe," says Joseph W Hill, Halcyon's Director of Client Relations and a member of its Executive Committee. "Rollo's unique combination of skills, relationships, and experience will be a major addition to the firm as we continue to serve our clients and expand our business."
Wigan adds: "I am very excited to be joining Halcyon. I believe its first-class team and superb reputation as a leading multi-strategy manager will enable the firm to continue its steady growth in serving institutional investors worldwide."
