Ben Watford, who previously led two international investment funds teams, has joined Haynes and Boone, LLP as a London-based partner in the firm’s Investment Management Practice Group.

Watford’s practice focuses on the structuring and establishment of onshore and offshore investment funds in various jurisdictions, as well as providing ongoing counsel to fund managers, investors and service providers to funds. 
 
He has worked on a range of alternative investment funds for fund managers, family offices, sovereign investors, and entrepreneurs including credit, event driven, special situations, global macro, crypto emerging markets, long/short equity, quantitative, multi-strategy, fund of funds, commodities, and real estate. Such funds have been domiciled in various jurisdictions including the Cayman Islands, Ireland, Luxembourg, Channel Islands, BVI, Malta, UK, and the US.
