HRH The Countess of Wessex to attend 100WHF’s Inaugural Hong Kong Gala

HRH The Countess of Wessex will be the Royal guest of honour at 100 Women in Hedge Funds’ (100WHF) inaugural Hong Kong Gala to be held on 20 November at the Hong Kong Maritime Museum.

100WHF has been holding regular industry educational events for its members and peer leverage sessions for senior practitioners in Hong Kong since 2007.

After many years of charitable fundraising in the US, UK and Switzerland, 100WHF will host its first charitable gala event in Asia, with funds raised benefitting The Hong Kong Award for Young People (AYP), in affiliation with The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Foundation.

100WHF's three core pillars include industry education, peer leverage and philanthropy. The organisation’s philanthropic mission is to use its collective abilities and expertise in order to give back to the local community in an impactful way. To date, 100WHF has raised close to USD30m globally for charitable causes. The global philanthropic theme for 2013 is mentoring.
