HSBC has appointed Christophe Chazot as Managing Director and Global Head of Structured Equity within its Global Equities unit.

HSBC has appointed Christophe Chazot as Managing Director and Global Head of Structured Equity within its Global Equities unit.

Christophe joins HSBC Corporate, Investment Banking and Markets (CIBM) from Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DrKW) where he held a number of roles most recently as Head of Proprietary Trading.

Until 2003 he was Global Head of Equity Derivatives at the bank. Prior to joining DrKW in 1999, he was Global Head of FX Options at Bankers Trust. From 1991 to 1993 he worked at Barclays de Zoete Wedd as a swaps trader.
