Jain Global, the hedge fund founded by former Millennium Management Co-Chief Investment officer Bobby Jain, has strengthened its investment team with the appointment of Alex Coats, a senior rates trader from JPMorgan.

Coats has joined the firm as a Rates and Macro Portfolio Manager and will be based in Jain Global’s London office in Mayfair, according to public filings and his LinkedIn profile.

Coats brings extensive experience in fixed income trading, having most recently worked at JPMorgan. Prior to that, he held senior trading roles at both Barclays and Morgan Stanley, building a track record across global rates markets.
