London-based hedge fund Man Group has continued its recent hiring spree with the appointment of Matthew Giordmaina as the firm's new head of of reconciliations, investment operations, according to reports.
Giordmaina joins Man Group from Swiss asset manager Pictet Asset Management where he held the role of reconciliations operations team manager in the firm's London office for four and a half years.
Prior to Pictet, Giordmaina spent a year at Jupiter Asset Management as a portfolio reconciliations manager specialising in SICAVs, Unit Trusts, Investment Trusts, Fund of Funds, and Institutional Business, according to his LinkedIn profile. He began his career at Schroders where he held various positions during an almost 12-year stint with the company rising to the role of Team Leader London Ops - Reconciliations & Integration Controls.
