MarketAxess Holdings, the operator of an electronic trading platform for fixed-income securities, has appointed Ilene Fiszel Bieler as Chief Financial Officer, succeeding Christopher Gerosa, who left the company on 31 January.
Fiszel Bieler, who is expected to take up her new role on 22 May, most recently served as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer of State Street Global Markets and Global Credit Finance and as Global Head of Investor Relations at State Street. Prior to State Street, she served in various positions including Head of Investor Relations and Strategy for the Americas at Barclays and Head of Fixed Income Investor and Rating Agency Relations at Citigroup.
Fiszel Bieler will be based in New York and report to CEO Chris Concannon.
