Swedish financial services provider Vesterhavet Fondkommission AB, which is in the process of changing its name to Meriti Capital, has appointed Ola Björkmo as CEO and Chief Investment Officer and Jonas Sandefeldt as Head of Systematic Fund Management, effective 4 September.
Björkmo and Sandefeldt have partnered for the past 17 years, most recently as hedge fund managers at QQM Fund Management, where their stewardship of the QQM Edge Fund won several industry nominations and awards.
Prior to co-founding QQM Fund Management, Björkmo and Sandefeldt held a variety of senior positions at Brummer & Partners and Öhman Kapitalförvaltning.
