Millennium Management, the New York-based, multi-strategy hedge fund major founded by Izzy Englander, has bolstered its legal team with the appointment of Linklaters partner Pansy Wong as International General Counsel in the firm's London office, according to a report by Financial News.

The report cites an unnamed source with knowledge of the matter as revealing that in her new role, Wong will oversee Millennium’s legal matters in Europe and Asia, reporting to the firm’s global general counsel, Gil Raviv.

Wong spent over three years at Linklaters as a partner focused on fixed income trading, derivatives, equities, and legal compliance. Prior to that, she held the position of managing Director at both JPMorgan Chase and Goldman Sachs, having started her career at Linklaters in 1996 as a Managing Associate.
