Corporate credit specialist Muzinich & Co has appointed three analysts, including financials and Asia sector specialists, as it expands its expertise across the credit spectrum.
Craig Guttenplan, who will be based in Muzinich’s New York office, joins from Rogge Global Partners, where he was responsible for financial sector investment grade and high yield debt.
Tracy Zhao, who previously worked for Aozora Asia Pacific Finance, has joined as a credit analyst on Muzinich’s Asia investment team. She is based in London.
Global high yield specialist Kashif Riaz has joined from Baring Asset Management, where he covered a range of sectors. Prior to Barings, he was lead credit analyst for the European TMT and utilities sectors at BlackRock. He is also based in London.
George Muzinich (pictured), chief executive and founder of Muzinich & Co, says: “We are hiring more sector specialists to ensure that we leave no stone unturned in our hunt to deliver the best risk-adjusted returns for our investors. We have the capability to look across high yield, investment grade, emerging markets, loans and private markets, and these talented additions make our team even deeper.”
Guttenplan says: “Muzinich is one of the most respected credit managers in the world and so I’m really excited to be joining this growing firm.”
