Neuberger Berman, a private, independent, employee-owned investment manager, has appointed Nicole Vettise, as managing director and client portfolio manager for equities in EMEA.

In this newly-created role in London, Vettise will partner with the region’s client coverage professionals to help clients maximise the breadth of Neuberger Berman’s equities platform.

Vettise joins from Franklin Templeton, where she spent three years serving as a senior institutional portfolio manager for emerging markets equities. In this role, she covered a suite of emerging markets products and developed business strategy for retail and institutional clients across EMEA and Canada. Prior to this, Vettise spent two years at BlackRock as the head of the natural resources and thematics product strategist team. Vettise has held similar roles at RBC Global Asset Management and JP Morgan Asset Management.
