Global fund administrator Opus has appointed industry veteran James Jackson as Executive Vice President in Halifax, Canada. The appointment follows a number of EVP and SVP level hires in the region as Opus further expands its North American footprint.

Jackson has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry including 14 years at Citco Canada where he held a number of senior leadership roles. Prior to Citco, Jackson worked for Morgan Stanley & Barclays Capital in London, UK.

In his new role, Jackson will focus on the delivery of the Opus's SaaS-based fund administration solution via its proprietary client portal and investor portal.
