Alternative investment technology solutions provider Paladyne Systems has established a client services operations centre in Fort Lee, New Jersey, to enhance and streamline the support requirements of its client base and to add capacity to the company's New York headquarters.
The 5,000 square foot space in Fort Lee's Executive Park will hold approximately 50 professionals focused predominantly on client help desk, technical services, and operational support. Paladyne, which was established in New York in 2005, also has offices in London and Russia.
The company says opening of the services center is in response to an increase in the overall demand for the Paladyne suite, an integrated front-, middle-, and back-office hedge fund solution available either as a local installation or as a full-service application service provider offering.
The Paladyne suite is a modular set of software applications covering the areas of trading, portfolio management, data warehousing, custom reporting and reference data management, and portfolio accounting through Paladyne's partnership with Advent Software to host and distribute Advent Geneva.
'In response to the increased demand for our products and services, we built our client services operations centre to ensure our ability to provide the highest quality support to our expanding client base,' says Paladyne Systems chief executive Sameer Shalaby.
'The proximity to New York and Connecticut coupled with direct access to the New Jersey resource pool, educational centres and technology infrastructure make Fort Lee an ideal location for expanding our services offering.'
The Paladyne suite, a fully-hosted technology platform, offers an integrated set of applications including order management, portfolio management, portfolio accounting, global security master, analytics toolset, portfolio pricing, custom reporting and customer relationship management.
The Paladyne suite comprises six modules. Paladyne Portfolio Master provides order management and allocation, portfolio management, real-time P&L and strategy-based performance tracking. Paladyne Analytics Master provides portfolio analytics, data aggregation, and custom reporting tools. Paladyne Security Master provides a centralised terms and conditions repository and distribution engine with real-time updates and corporate action alerts.
Paladyne Price Master provides automated collection, storage and analysis of prices and market data from third-party sources. Paladyne Client Master provides client relationship management including website integration and reporting. Advent Geneva provides a portfolio accounting solution including general ledger reporting, performance measurement and portfolio reporting as part of Paladyne's hosted solution.
