Jon L Stein has joined Parker Global Strategies (PGS) as Managing Director of Strategic Initiatives.
 
In this newly created position, Stein will be responsible for product development and marketing for the firm in the areas of foreign exchange, portable alpha solutions for commodities and global natural resources, and several PGS investable indices that are in development. He will establish an office for PGS in Chicago and will also serve as a member of the firm's Investment and Management Committees.  Stein reports to Michael R. Parker, President.

Stein brings 21 years of experience in the financial sector to Parker Global.  Prior to joining the firm, he was the Chief Investment Officer and an equity owner with AlphaMetrix Investment Advisors, a Chicago-based alternative investments firm and platform operator.  Before AlphaMetrix, Stein was Chief Strategic Officer and also served as the Chairman of the Investment and Allocation Committee for Efficient Capital Management, a Chicago-based fund-of-funds.
