Pictet Alternative Advisors (PAA), the alternative investment arm of Swiss private bank and financial service company Pictet Group, has appointed Trudi Usher Boardman to the role of Head of Hedge Funds, effective 1 November 2023.

Boardman joins from Cambridge Associates, where she spent over ten years as a Hedge Fund Specialist Consultant with responsibility for discretionary and non-discretionary client portfolio relationships. In her new role, she will help to manage €7bn of assets in single and multi-manager hedge fund strategies.

Boardman will lead a team of 12 investment professionals and hedge fund experts, reporting to Elif Aktuğ, CEO of PAA.

In a statement, Aktuğ said: "Trudi brings a wealth of experience and expertise. Her appointment is valuable for PAA as we continue providing tailored hedge fund strategies to a range of institutional, wholesale and family office clients."
