RBC BlueBay Asset Management has appointed Haris Nikitakis as senior risk manager. Based in London, Nikitakis will work alongside senior risk manager, Francesco Gessa running the Portfolio Risk Management team.
RBC BlueBay Asset Management (RBC BlueBay) has appointed Haris Nikitakis as senior risk manager. Based in London, Nikitakis will work alongside senior risk manager, Francesco Gessa running the Portfolio Risk Management team.
Nikitakis, who will report into Jean-Philippe Blua, Chief Risk Officer for RBC BlueBay Asset Management, will be responsible for the risk management and risk oversight of RBC BlueBay’s Emerging Market and Multi-Asset Credit strategies.
Before joining RBC BlueBay, Nikitakis was working at Pictet Asset Management, most recently in the role of Investment Risk Manager, covering emerging market debt and global bonds. Prior to this, Nikitakis worked at Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan in various risk functions. He has a Master of Science (MSc) in Finance from Warwick Business School in the UK, a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Banking and Financial Management from the University of Piraeus in Greece and is a CFA charter holder.
