RPD Fund Management's RPD Fortress Fund, which combines deep-value equity research with cash-covered option writing, has continued its consistent performance streak, delivering positive returns in 32 of the 33 months since its inception.
Since launch, the fund has achieved 10.18% net annualised returns with 1.75% volatility and a Sharpe ratio of 3.47, all without the use of leverage, even on a notional basis. The fund has demonstrated stability across a range of market conditions, reflecting its disciplined approach to valuation and capital protection.
The fund’s net delta exposure has averaged approximately 7% since inception, resulting in performance largely independent of market direction. Its conservative framework is designed to provide investors with steady income and a dependable source of diversification.
“The Fortress Fund demonstrates our disciplined approach,” added Okumus. “Roughly 45% of the firm’s capital comes from general partners, showing deep conviction in the firm’s strategies.”
RPD Fund Management also manages the RPD Opportunity Fund, a concentrated long-short equity strategy focused on deep-value investing. Together, the two funds offer complementary approaches across different volatility and return profiles.
