New York-based RPD Fund Management posted robust results across its two flagship hedge fund strategies in 2025, highlighting the firm’s disciplined deep-value approach, with the RPD Opportunity Fund, leading the way with a net ~40% gain.
The concentrated long/short equity strategy's performance , gained ~40% net was supported by the re-rating of high-conviction positions in China internet and US housing sectors, along with selective exposure to enterprise software amid broader sell-offs. The fund returned +3.24% net in December alone.
The RPD Fortress Fund meanwhile, a low-volatility, cash-secured options strategy, returned +0.99% net in December, finishing the year up +10.03% net. The fund has now delivered positive performance in 34 of 35 months since launch, compounding 10.15% annually with a Sharpe ratio of 3.54, while operating fully cash-secured and without leverage. Performance has remained largely independent of overall market direction.
Founded in 2021, RPD manages approximately $530m across the two funds, with a 12-person investment team.
