Abacus Group, a provider of hosted cloud IT solutions for alternative investment funds, has added security and communications enhancements to its AbacusFlex Private Cloud platform.
“As our client base of alternative investment firms continues to grow in the US, UK and Europe, Abacus is ensuring that our technology and services meet or exceed the highest standards for security and ease of communications,” says Viktor Tadijanovic (pictured), chief technology officer at Abacus.
Tadijanovic says that in recent months AbacusFlex has been enhanced with enhancements to the existing two-factor authentication solution, providing end-users with the option to receive their token via an on-demand email for a better user experience; new centrally managed home office VPN solution providing secure integration of client’s home offices into their production network; deployment of an advanced email security and encryption platform; responding to increasingly sophisticated cyber threats distributed via email.; and automated voice and email communications and notification system that enables a higher level of out-of-band communication between Abacus and its clients.
"In addition to our robust R&D efforts, our clients constantly request technical solutions that address their policy and compliance needs," says Tadijanovic. “Security and communications are two of their highest priorities and we at Abacus intend to always meet their needs for the highest quality solutions.”
