A tokenised version of a global macro hedge fund run by renowned manager Chua Soon Hock has been listed on Singapore-headquartered private markets exchange ADDX, according to a report by Fund Selector Asia.
Through the use of blockchain and smart contract technology ADDX has reduced the minimum subscription size of the Asia Genesis Macro Fund from $1m to $20,000 for investors, while the fund trades exclusively in highly liquid exchange-listed futures and options, providing investors with a monthly redemption option with no lock-in periods.
The fund, which record a Net return for 2022 of +15.3% on a Sharpe Ratio of 1.2, is an Asia-focused global macro hedge fund strategy from Chua Soon Hock, who previously ran the Japan Macro Fund before deciding to take a break in 2009 to manage his own money. He launched Asia Genesis in May 2020.
