UMB Fund Services (UMBFS) has hired Michael Yanke as head of fund administration and Mackenzie Johnson as legal counsel in Milwaukee.

Yanke is responsible for operations of UMBFS’ Milwaukee-based Fund Administration team, which services registered funds of all types. He will also establish and oversee fund administration compliance policies and procedures. He has nearly 30 years of experience in the fund industry.
 
“Michael brings an extensive knowledge of the industry to UMBFS,” says Terry Gallagher (pictured), executive vice president, director of fund accounting and administration. “Michael will assist in developing a strong team of fund administrators. We are excited to welcome him to the firm.”
 
Johnson is responsible for providing legal services and counsel to UMBFS in all aspects from contracts and service agreements to counsel on lines of business. She graduated from Marquette University Law School and holds Series 7 and 63 FINRA licenses. Prior to her role at UMBFS, she was a legal and compliance associate at Heartland Advisors, Inc.
