Deutsche Börse is making an unscheduled adjustment to the free float of Sky Deutschland AG in MDAX.
Due to the takeover of Sky Deutschland AG by British Sky Broadcasting Group PLC, the free float of Sky Deutschland AG changed by more than 10 percentage points.
According to the rules in the Guide to the Equity Indices of the Deutsche Börse, the company’s free float will be decreased from the current 45.17 per cent to 33.12 per cent. The adjustment will become effective on 23 October 2014.
The next regular review of the Deutsche Börse equity indices is scheduled for 3 December 2014.
