The firm has appointed Rafael Andreata and Mingyan Huang as co-heads of the office, with both joining from Asian multi-strategy hedge fund New Fleet Capital, where they served as Managing Partners. Andreata also served as CIO.

The pair worked together at the endowment of Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah University of Science and Technology, a research college started in 2009 with billions to invest, before leaving in 2023 for New Fleet.

According to the growing quant firm’s LinkedIn page, it currently has more than 30 portfolio manager teams working from offices in New York, Boston and London, as well as an off-shoot in Exeter, England.
