Shiprock Capital Management, a London-based investment management firm focused on global distressed and special situations investments, has appointed Yacine Bourezak as Senior Analyst.
Prior to joining Shiprock, Bourezak spent three years in the European special situations team at Credit Suisse in London, where he built its special situations business. Prior to Credit Suisse, Bourezak was an investment analyst at Signal Capital, where he was responsible for public market opportunities.
Bourezak started his career at Goldman Sachs on its distressed investing desk in London, where he focused on tradable distressed opportunities across the capital structure.
Shiprock Capital Management, which was founded in early 2023 by Simon Milledge (formerly of GML Capital) and Andrey Pavlichenkov (formerly of VR Capital) is understood to have generated returns of more than 17% so far this year, while AUM has gone from $100m to $500m.
