FPP Asset Management, London has appointed Daiwa Securities Global Asset Services to provide administration and trustee services to its new Irish domiciled UCITS fund, Fabien Pictet and Partners Global Funds PLC which was launched in September 2009.
The fund is a UCITS III compliant, daily liquidity, long only vehicle that seeks to achieve capital growth by investing primarily in the equity securities of companies in global emerging markets but the fund will not otherwise be restricted by industry, sector, geography or market.
“We are delighted to continue our long and successful relationship with Daiwa Securities Global Asset Services as our funds servicing provider,” says Steven Johnson, Chief Operating Officer at FPP Asset Management. “We currently have six Cayman Funds, so the new Irish product is our response to the market where investors are seeking a regulated fund offering with a UCITS branding. The fact that Daiwa were in a position to offer us the total integrated UCITS servicing model inclusive of Trustee/Custodial services, corporate secretarial, directorships and management services has made this experience very cohesive”.
