GFIA, a hedge fund consulting firm in Asia, has added a new wealth management service to its offerings.
The wealth management service is targeted at sophisticated pools of private wealth and is designed to offer a holistic, client-specific service.
GFIA will act as a fiduciary agent working on clients’ behalf, from initial structuring through cash management, portfolio investment (in both liquid and illiquid assets), deal/acquisition due diligence and philanthropy, managing external service providers on behalf of clients.
Initially the firm will act for one substantial family, which will also take an equity stake in GFIA’s holding company. GFIA will establish and manage the family office.
