Swiss hedge fund service provider, HedgePole, has launched two UCITS indices, reported FINalternatives this week. One will track global macro strategies, the other CTAs/managed futures. What’s unique about these indices, says HedgePole, is that they aim to cover all UCITS fitting the selection criteria to generate a fair, reliable and independent representation of the performance of relevant strategies. The firm also said that it would source NAVs “pro-actively and directly” from constituent fund managers or their administrators to ensure that each calculation includes “100 per cent of the underlyings’ latest updated NAVs”.
