Stuart Currey, APAC Head of Systematic Trading at Citadel Securities, has become the latest senior figure from the market-making firm to join multi-strategy hedge fund major Millennium, according to a report by eFinancial Careers.
Currey has joined Millennium as a quant trader, a position he held at UBS for a decade prior to his 16-month stint at Citadel.
His appointment at Millennium follows that of Ryan Liu, who joined this month as a senior portfolio manager in systematic trading after seven years at Citadel Securities.
Other recent Millennium PM arrivals include Varun Nayyar, who also joined this month after spending the last six years at Segantii Capital.
