US-based Monsoon Capital, which focuses on emerging markets, has selected SEI to provide full fund administration, trustee and custodial services for its newly launched UCITS fund. Monsoon uses a systematic quantitative trading approach and it was SEI’s ability to support Monsoon’s trading volume which swayed the decision, thanks to the firm’s technology infrastructure which delivers a straight-through, automated process for trade reconciliation. SEI’s online Manager Dashboard tool will give Monsoon comprehensive data management, performance and risk reporting, providing the manager with the flexibility needed to tailor its reporting in parallel with its unique business decision-making process. SEI’s systems provide aggregated views of data across multiple product lines from the top down fund or portfolio level to the investment security level.
