NYSE Euronext welcomes Sica Invest SA on NYSE Alternext

The 508,989 existing shares representing the outstanding capital of Sica Invest (SICV) have been admitted to trading on NYSE Alternext.

The move comes after Sica Invest – an investment company investing mainly in small caps listed on the Free Market and NYSE Alternext in Brussels and in Paris – raised some EUR5.1million in a private placement. At the reference price of EUR9.16, the market capitalisation of the company now amounts to EUR4.66 million.

“Sica Invest has been built around a new concept and its creation is favorable for our small caps markets,” says Vincent Van Dessel (pictured), CEO of NYSE Euronext. “It will provide new investors with a diversified investment tool allowing the exchange to increase its role in this important market segment.
