In his new position, Davis (pictured) will be responsible for sales and client services of ConceptOne. The hire follows several key appointments the firm has made to increase its client service and product offerings. The firm plans to further expand its sales staff later this year.

Prior to joining Concept, Davis was managing director, in charge of sales and marketing at Merlin Securities. Previously, he was chief operating officer at SDS Capital Group, a Greenwich, Connecticut-based hedge fund. Earlier, Davis was managing director and national sales manager at both Banc of America Prime Brokerage and Montgomery Securities Prime Brokerage Services.
